The Administrative Console will permit the designated personnel to send out mass mailings to the selected website users. The administrator can compile the mailing list by filtering and searching the user database. Optionally, mailing lists and frequently used mailings can be saved for future use.
Site administrators can also setup e-mail campaigns. An e-mail campaign is a combination of a mailing list and a template. It can be used for periodical mass mailings and can be setup to keep track of how many e-mail messages were actually delivered and viewed.
Front end tools can be implemented so that registered website users and guests can modify their mailing list preferences. For example, each website user will be able to subscribe (opt-in) or unsubscribe (opt-out) from any mailing list. Such requests will be processed by the system automatically.
