The purpose of the Special Pricing feature is to allow individual customers to have different prices on specific items in the product catalog. By default, the product catalog may display the retail price for all users who are not logged in. The customer has to be logged in to view the discounted prices available to them.
Quantity Price Brackets
The designated administrators of the site can set price brackets for each of the products in the Product Catalog. Price brackets will be displayed on the front-end of the website and will signify the price of the product depending on the quantity of the items purchased at one time.
Discounts & Coupons
You may apply discounts to all or selected items in the product catalog. There are two types of discounts: flat discount (i.e. $5 off) and percentage discount (i.e. 5% off). Customers receive discount based on coupon codes they enter or the discount group they belong to.
