Intechnic’s state-of-the art Inventory Management System enables the website to keep track of all items in stock, by conducting automatic inventory calculations. A customizable order processing logic will ensure that the Inventory Management matches your business processes and always maintains accurate information about your products.

Backordering & Preordering

The Backordering and Preordering feature allows customers to purchase products in the Product Catalog that are either temporarily out of stock or not yet available. With this feature, if a certain product in the Product Catalog is out of stock or not available, the customer has an option to order it either by 1) paying for it in advance (in which case the product will be delivered upon its availability) or 2) by getting notified via e-mail once the product is available.

Optionally, the system can support partial Backordering or Preordering for multiple items or multiple quantities. Split shipments can be arranged when only some items or partial quantities are available immediately and the rest is backordered.
