Verist Medical LLC, a Chicago based company, evolved from a four-year research and development cooperation with its sister company, Qbtech AB of Gothenburg, Sweden. Verist Medical physicians and nurses provide behavioral medical services and individualize treatment for ADHD through care centers in Chicago.
Verist Medical is utilizing modern technology to the fullest benefit of its patients. Intechnic Corporation is proud to be providing various IT services and solutions for Verist Medical. Electronic systems successfully developed and deployed by Intechnic Corporation include a website (http://www.veristmedical.com), the data exchange interface with Qbtech AB of Gothenburg, Sweden, and an online Patient Area for parents and patients.
Verist Medical’s website provides a secure Patient Area that allows for close communication with parents and patients to ensure the patient's safety and continued well-being. The online Patient Area can be securely and conveniently accessed from the comfort of patients’ homes. Behavioral rating surveys are available online, where parents are invited to fill out important information about the behavior of their child.
This approach is designed to reduce the amount of paperwork and eliminate bureaucracy known to most medical offices. All of patients' forms are filled out and stored electronically, making them easier to store, retrieve and analyze. Parents are automatically reminded by the system when a new behavioral rating survey is due for their child. This information is then carefully analyzed and evaluated, contributing to the treatment plan. Personnel at Verist Medical are immediately alerted if the system recognizes unusual changes in the reported behavioral ratings, making the individualized treatment of your child safer and better monitored.

Future development plans for Verist Medical include the expansion of the Patient Area to include access to medical history and notes, test results, and other important information accessible by patients from the Electronic Medical Records system.
