Intechnic Corporation has recently launched a new website for the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc. (CLCCRUL) - the public interest law consortium of Chicago's leading law firms. From nineteen firms in 1969, the Chicago Lawyers' Committee has grown to forty-five member firms today. Each year, over 15,000 hours of donated professional legal services, with a value of over $3 million are directed to civil rights issues by the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee.
Intechnic Corporation has sponsored a makeover to the Chicago Lawyers' Committee website – the winner of the “Worst Website Contest”. The contest ran online at www.xtreme-website-makeover.com. Participants nominated their websites by submitting a short story explaining why they think their website is the worst. Internet visitors then voted for the worst website. During the two weeks of voting over 10,000 votes were cast for the websites participating in the contest.

The new and improved website for Chicago Lawyers' Committee features new attractive design. The website’s enhanced layout and navigation makes it easier to find information about the type of the assistance that the Committee provides, previous projects undertaken by CLCCRUL, and their latest news. The website’s Administrative Console is equipped with Intechnic’s award-winning Content Management System, allowing personnel at CLCCRUL to easily update information on the website, publish new projects and news, upload publications, and maintain a directory of valuable resources.
