CRM – Customer Relationship Management

The Customer Relationship Management system allows for a centralized database of all clients, affiliates, and strategic business partners. The system allows its users to manage leads, record customer interactions, run sales reports, track performance of sales personnel, and manage other critical aspects of the business.

CRM, Customer Relationship Management

What is CRM?

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a system that helps work with and account for all interactions with clients. It is based on a centralized repository of information for the following:

  • Clients’ (existing and potential) contact information
  • Interactions with clients such as phone calls, meetings, emails, proposals, contracts, etc
  • Ongoing project information including requirements, timelines, status of completion, assigned personnel, and so on The CRM system is a part of our larger set of Enterprise 2.0 Solutions, but it can be used as a stand-alone application.

How does CRM work?

Sales representatives and project managers enter all relevant information (requests, quotes, email correspondence, dates of scheduled meetings and follow-ups) about all potential clients and leads into the CRM system. With this information, the system automatically generates a forecast of potential sales and automatically notifies responsible project managers when they need to take the next step with each lead. A next step can be a follow-up phone call, a proposal submission, or a simple email. Once a sale is made, the same exact process is applied to the production phase where all aspects can be managed using the CRM system including budgeting, forecasting, project management, resource management, and quality control.
