Mazzeta Company, LLC founded in 1987 is one of world’s leading direct importers of premium-frozen seafood. Much of its fish and farmed shrimp come from the seas around Africa, Australia, Brazil, China, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. Its primary products are shrimp, fish, lobster, and crab. Serving US and Candida it distributes seafood products to restaurants, discount stores, warehouse clubs, and other retailers, including various supermarket chains.

Mazzetta Company LLC approached Intechnic to build a cutting edge website. The requirements for the website was to have a modern look and feel, showcase information about the company and the products that it offers, along with an interactive recipes section.


Intechnic implemented a CMS (Content Management System) where designated personnel can easily update information throughout the website, including products in the catalog, and recipes in the recipes section. An interactive recipes section built in Flash, allows visitors to browse various seafood recipes with pictures

 

 
 
A product catalog on the website provides pictures, nutrition facts, descriptions along with an overview the Seamazz line of seafood. It’s used by customers who are interested in more information about the food they purchased and learning about products they may not have known were offered by Mazzetta Company. All of the products can be easily added, edited and deleted as the product line adapts to changing market trends.
 
 
 

 

 
 
The website provides for easy and efficient content management by website Administrators. The system has been utilized to provide information about Mazzetta’s conservation efforts, company history and latest trade shows. A rotating block on the homepage allows Mazzetta Company to display latest news and make updates as new developments within the company take place.
 
 
 

 

 
 
A fun recipes Flash animation shows recipe cards scattered across an open area, much like you might find in an actual cook’s corner. Recipes are provided for many types of Seamazz seafood and tell the reader the specific ingredients required and instructions they need to follow to make a delicious dish. The recipes Flash is a fun, interactive tool that ultimately encourages consumers to continue shopping Seamazz! Website Administrators can work with recipes much as they do with products -- adding, editing and deleting recipes as required.
