Brunswick Billiards
Brunswick Billiards has been manufacturing pool tables for nearly two centuries and is one of the most well-recognized names in the industry.

Brunswick Billiards, an existing client of Intechnic Corporation has recently asked us to add e-commerce functionality to the site. The main objective of the project was to streamline online sales of the most popular products available from Brunswick Billiards. Brunswick Billiards wanted to make sure that customers visiting the website would have an easy and a convenient way of finding and ordering products online.

One of the most important features of the new functionality was to automatically assign orders to dealers that are closest to the customer’s shipping address. The system automatically determines which dealer is the closest and assigns the order to that dealer. All available dealers are kept and managed in a secure administrative console. In addition to assigning new orders to dealers and notifying them, Brunswick Billiards has full control of all incoming orders, dealer assignments, available products, and product pricing.

Furthermore, Intechnic Corporation modified the table configuration tool to allow customers to not only design and build their own tables, but add the configured table to the shopping cart, view its price, adjust the option selection, and purchase it. When a table is added to the shopping cart, the system also determines available accessories for this table (configurable by the administrator) and automatically displays them below the shopping cart as items that Brunswick Billiards recommends in conjunction with the selected pool table. This functionality was built together with Street Level Studio – a partner of Intechnic.
Future development plans may include allowing purchases from Canada, user registration and the ability to view past orders from the front end, additions to the online product catalog, and further integration of additional e-commerce related functionality, and expansion of the flash programming that was done for the Build Your Own Table functionality.
